Mobile Filters MFD (Welding Fume Extractor Model MFD)
Yushi Group is pleased to present the Welding Fume Extractor Model MFD, a portable extraction unit designed to capture dry welding fumes and particulates at the source. This mobile unit features a mechanical DuraFilter system and can be equipped with either flexible plastic Flex or UltraFlex extraction arms, or flexible hose. The mobile unit is ideal for welding activities at multiple locations.

Applications:
The MFD is designed for use in the following applications:
- MIG-MAG/GMAW welding (Typical yearly use: <700 kg/1500 lbs)
- TIG welding
- FCAW welding (Typical yearly use: <700 kg/1500 lbs)
- Stick/MMAW welding (Typical yearly use: <500 kg/1100 lbs)
Cautions: Do NOT use the MFD for the following applications or under these conditions.
- Curved slit welding
- Aluminum laser cutting
- Oil mists
- Heavy oil mist in welding fume
- Extracting aggressive fumes and gases (e.g. from acids, alkalis, lithium-containing fluxes)
- Continuous extraction of hot gases (above 45°C/113°F)
- Aluminum and magnesium
- Flame spraying
- Extracting cement dust, wood dust, etc.
- Sucking in cigarette smoke, tissue, oils and other combustion particles and acids
- Explosive environments or explosive substances/gases
