The HVLS Fan (High Volume Low Speed Fan), also known as Big Ceiling Fan, is influenced by the design of the Helicopter rotor blades. The operating principle of Helicopter rotor blades is to have low rotational speed but still generate significant lifting force and high volume of air (High Volume) due to the "Bernoulli Effect".

The first model of the fan produced is the YSBC-7200 model, with a blade diameter of 7.2 meters, capable of generating airflow of over 13,200 m³/min. Over 200 units have been manufactured within a year (2016 – 2017). The operating principle is to create airflow in the installation area and draw hot air from the top above the fan blades to the ground. When the air hits the ground, it collides and disperses sideways, but due to the massive amount of air introduced by the HVLS fan, the airflow velocity increases (Wind Jet). The wind speed increases or decreases depending on the height of the fan installation.

This option can replenish and ventilate air, create cooling effects, reduce the use of small fans, and maximize energy savings simultaneously. Furthermore, it can be used in conjunction with other ventilation systems to create Hybrid Systems, such as pairing with evaporative systems, air conditioning, propeller fans, and others for energy efficiency. Another function is to circulate air within the system, allowing the primary cooling system to operate less efficiently.

The HVLS Fan (High Volume Low Speed Fan) or Big Ceiling Fan from the Yushi Group adheres to standardized manufacturing, installation, and maintenance to ensure product and service safety. Quality control is maintained throughout the manufacturing and installation processes. This policy ensures consumer safety as large fans, if improperly installed, could pose risks to consumers. In 2018, Yushi Group Limited will introduce HVLS Fans (High Volume Low Speed Fan) or Big Ceiling Fans in other sizes, including 6.1 meters, 4.2 meters, and 3.6 meters, using DC Brushless technology that meets international standards. This will significantly increase energy efficiency, catering to various businesses in Thailand, including medium-sized and small industrial factories, hotels, tourist destinations, gyms, temples, schools, and more.
